The Barita Foundation is now accepting scholarship applications for the upcoming 2022/2023 academic year.

Unlike The Barita Foundations scholarships being offered in 2022, there are 5 categories of scholarships. There is now the addition of the Cornerstone/Barita Staff Scholarship, only being offered to a member of staff of Barita or Cornerstone.

RITA HUMPHRIES LEWIN EARLY CHILD EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP

A scholarship dedicated to applicants pursuing early childhood studies.

CORNERSTONE/BARITA CSEC/CAPE Scholarship

Open to applicants who will sit for CSEC/CAPE in the 2023/2024 academic year.

CORNERSTONE/BARITA PRIMARY EXIT PROFILE (PEP) Scholarship

For Grade 6 students who sat the PEP examinations during the current 2022/2023 academic year.

Applicants are required to be a client and/or children of a Barita Investments client.

CORNERSTONE/BARITA Tertiary Scholarship

Open to Tertiary/University applicants who are pursuing a first degree in the 2022/2023 academic year.

For applicants who are employees of Cornerstone/Barita.

ABOUT THE BARITA FOUNDATION

The Barita Foundation is a foundation aimed at youth development and initially began to take shape shortly after the Friends of St. Martin de Porres started an intervention program at the St. Martin de Porres Primary School in Gordon Town.

The Barita Education Foundation assumed responsibility for the program in 2004, it built its platforms on the same ideals: young people deserved every opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.
