It is official, The Apple Watch a Series 7 will be available for order this Friday, the 8th of October and available in stores on October 15.
The Apple Watch Series 7 is Apple latest addition to its line of Smart Watches. It features a larger and more advanced display, enhanced durabiility, faster charging, new aluminium case colours and WatchOS 8.
The device boasts a new design noted as being ” refined with softer, more rounded corners , and the display has a unique refractive edge that makes full-screen watch faces and apps appear to seamlessly connect with the curvature of the case”.
At just 1.7 mm thin, the narrower borders of Apple Watch Series 7 maximise the screen area of the display while minimally changing the dimensions of the watch itself. Apple Watch Series 7 also features a user interface optimised for the larger display, a new QWERTY keyboard, plus two unique watch faces — Contour and Modular Duo — designed specifically for the new device. Users benefit from the same all-day 18-hour battery life,1 now complemented by 33 percent faster charging.
Available in 41mm and 45mm sizes, Apple Watch Series 7 is the most durable Apple Watch ever, with a stronger, more crack-resistant front crystal. It is the first Apple Watch to have an IP6X certification for resistance to dust, and maintains a WR50 water resistance rating.

Multiple users have reported having trouble login into Twitter via the web/desktop according to the dedicated Twitter down detector page, occurring at 10 am EST.
Users experience the error after either being forcefully being logged out on the web app or simply not being able to login into their accounts via the web.

Twitter’s Mobile app still allows users to log in although a few users have reportedly received a similar error to the one above before being logged in.
Others have simply gotten around the issue by resetting their passwords and login back in.

Always remember that password managers don’t guarantee security and using one across the various platforms you use daily can only ease the time it takes to log in, security, and productivity.
You should in addition to using a password manager also enable 2 Factor Authentication (2FA) and respective primary accounts such as Your Bank, Investment Apps, Google, Apple, Amazon, and Microsoft just to name a few.

The Doggfather is taking over the Sandbox by recreating his mansion in The Sandbox virtual gaming world, allowing players to experience concerts and parties and even play as Snoop Dogg himself.

Links that you have bookmarked/accessed in the past will simply redirect to the new web address. Projects tracked keywords, and all other account data will also remain the same.
Users will also have to log out and log in again. Platform users are also asked to reach out to support if they face any issues.
Is this a hint that Ahref’s search engine may be around the corner or under development? we are free to speculate, but it could also be the case of a simple website reorganization logic. we suspect nonetheless given this could be a very valid hint.
Ahref’s CEO, Dimitri Gerasimenko had announced plans for Ahref’s search engine which prioritized supporting content creators and privacy. This new search engine would reward content creators directly from the search revenue with a favorable 90/20 split for publishers.
This is a pretty big vision coming from an SEO tool that works with search engines like Bing and Google. Just months ago Brave, a privacy-focused web browser, also launched its non-tracking-based search dedicated to privacy.

New York-based Shutterstock (NYSE: SSTK) has acquired the online graphic design and image editing platform, PicMonkey for around $110 Million.
The PicMoney platform gives creators the ability to make presentations, advertisements and logos, to business cards and banners. The platform can thus be used in cases such as digital marketing, advertising, and social media posts.
Shutterstock is known for their comprehensive stock library of high-quality licensed photographs, vectors, illustrations, videos, 3D models and music. Shutterstock adds hundreds of thousands of images each week, and currently has more than 380 million images and more than 22 million video clips available.
The acquisition of PicMonkey, an Online Image and Design platform is, therefore, a perfect complementary acquisition for Shutterstock.
The platform not only supplements Shutterstock with easy to use image and video design tools but expands its audience reach. The market for creative software and design tools is a growing market with over $8 billion in opportunities.
PicMonkey is expected to contribute approximately 3% to Shutterstock’s annual revenues and to add more than 200,000 new subscribers.

That’s right, Shutterstock’s enormous library of royalty-free stock photos will replace Unsplash & iStock by Getty images, effective September 14, 2021.
After September 14, Unsplash images will no longer be available in PicMonkey. If you have Unsplash images in Hub, these images have always been unwatermarked and royalty-free, so you may continue to use them in your projects.
My take on this change: That is pretty significant change but Shutterstock isn’t running a non-profit so it is an understandable change. It would however be better if they kept these platforms with Shutterstock being the primary option.
