Product Hunt, the popular platform for discovering new tech products, has unveiled a significant new feature: dedicated product forums.
These forums, accessible via the /p/product-name
URL structure (e.g., producthunt.com/p/windsurf), function similarly to subreddits, providing a centralized space for discussion and feedback on individual products.

The announcement, made on Product Hunt and X (formerly Twitter) by CEO Rajiv Ayyangar, marks a major step for the platform.
By creating these mini-Reddits, Product Hunt aims to foster deeper engagement between users and product creators. This move is expected to generate a substantial increase in user-generated content and keep product-related conversations within a single, easily accessible location.
This concentrated interaction could, in turn, provide valuable feedback to developers and ultimately lead to improvements in the products showcased on the platform.
“The Product Hunt community is the most curious, helpful, and supportive tech community on the internet,” reads the product description. “Now the conversation can continue after launch in dedicated sub-forums for every product (e.g. producthunt.com/p/windsurf).”
This new feature promises to further solidify Product Hunt’s role as a central hub for product discovery and community interaction.
