NAVER D2SF Invests in AI-Powered E-Commerce Content Startup STUDIO LAB

NAVER D2SF, NAVER’s corporate venturing arm, has announced an investment in STUDIO LAB, a startup revolutionizing e-commerce content creation with its AI-powered solution.

STUDIO LAB’s “GENCY” platform uses multimodal AI to generate high-quality product detail pages (PDPs) in a mere 15-30 seconds, a process that traditionally requires significant time and resources.

GENCY leverages five independently developed AI models, including a fashion-specialized Vision-Language Pretraining (VLP) model trained on a massive dataset of over 10,000 PDPs and 200,000 image-text data points.

This allows the platform to analyze product photos and automatically generate optimized marketing copy, layouts, and detailed designs, creating complete PDPs rather than just individual elements.

This end-to-end approach addresses sellers’ challenges and enables automated A/B testing and personalization.

STUDIO LAB has already partnered with over 30 major fashion companies and platforms, including LF, W Concept, GS Retail, and Shinsegae, demonstrating the platform’s potential within the fashion industry.

Early results show double-digit increases in user engagement and clicks after implementing GENCY.

The company is now expanding into other sectors like jewelry and exploring global markets, including North America and Japan.

They are even working on automating A+ Content creation for Amazon sellers.

The commerce sector is actively adopting various technologies, including generative AI, We will pursue various collaboration opportunities between STUDIO LAB and NAVER Shopping.
