From March 14th to May 11th, 2025, the Museu da Marioneta will host LAIKA: FRAME x FRAME, a stunning exhibition showcasing the artistic genius behind the studio’s beloved films.
Imagine stepping into the meticulously crafted worlds of Coraline, ParaNorman, Kubo and the Two Strings, The Boxtrolls, and Missing Link. This exhibition, organized in partnership with Monstra – Lisbon Animation Festival, offers a deep dive into the painstaking process behind each frame.
You’ll see actual puppets, intricate sets, stunning costumes, and mind-blowing props straight from LAIKA’s archives.
