The Jamaica Howard University Affinity Network (JHUAN) has announced that they now accept scholarship applications for Jamaican international students at Howard University.
This organization provides up to USD 5,000 in tuition assistance to full-time Howard University students across all majors. The scholarships also include a mentorship program.

Our scholarship program is designed precisely to open more doors for students from Jamaica or of Jamaican heritage, helping them secure the financial aid they need.
the JHUAN’s opening words for the Scholarships
JHUAN will once again honor two outstanding student-athletes with the JHUAN Bancroft S. Gordon Scholarship. Named for the late Howard University soccer legend and JHUAN supporter, the scholarship recognizes exceptional achievement in academics, athletics, leadership, and community involvement. Jamaican athletes and those of Jamaican heritage are especially encouraged to apply.
Howard University Scholarships 2025: Eligibility Requirements
- GPA of 3.0
- Born in Jamaica or of Jamaican descent
- Second-semester freshman, sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student at Howard University
- Enrolled full-time and in good standing
- Demonstrate the need for financial assistance
Applications have a deadline of February 21, 2025(11:59 PM).
