Miami, October 22, 2025 – It’s the most wonderful time of the year, even for fast food. Burger King is making an unexpected play for your holiday spirit, going beyond just festive menu items.

The burger giant has announced its first-ever BK Advent Calendar, alongside a month-long 31 Days of Deals promotion. Are they aiming for your heart, your wallet, or both?

This isn’t your average chocolate advent calendar. Burger King is offering a limited-edition calendar featuring a whimsical holiday village design, mirroring their seasonal app experience. For just $19.54 – a clever nod to the brand’s founding year – you get 12 days of surprises, with a retail value exceeding $100.

Each item promises to be a nostalgic journey through Burger King’s 70-year history, inspired by past and present menu favorites, iconic campaigns, and memorable moments. Think cozy comfort and festive flair, with nods to beloved items like Chicken Fries and the legendary Whopper, plus a throwback to the Burger King Kids Club. This isn’t just about selling burgers; it’s about selling a brand experience.

But the festive fun doesn’t stop there. Burger King is also rolling out “31 Days of Deals,” exclusively for its Royal Perks members. These aren’t just minor discounts; we’re talking about a flurry of digital exclusives including free food, $0 delivery fees with a purchase, significant deals on iconic menu offerings, and even festive BK merchandise drops. This is a direct play to reward loyalty and drive engagement through their app.

The “31 Days of Deals” come to life in the “BK Village,” an immersive experience within the Burger King App. Royal Perks members can explore a snowy, cheerful virtual town, unlocking deals and customizing their digital holiday home.

Each day, users can “open the mailbox” at their virtual home to reveal one of the 31 deals, which then unlock new activities and interactions within the village, promising even more surprises.

“Burger King loves giving its Guests great deals to help make the holiday season brighter, and this year, we wanted to give our biggest fans a little something extra,” said Pat O’Toole, Chief Marketing Officer for Burger King North America.

This dual-pronged approach, combining a collectible physical product with an engaging digital experience, shows a clear intent to dominate the quick-service restaurant holiday scene. It’s a bold move in a highly competitive market, trying to cultivate a deeper connection with customers beyond just the drive-thru.

Will these holiday gestures resonate with consumers, or is it just another fast-food gimmick? Only time (and sales) will tell.
