Weave Completes Acquisition of TrueLark to Boost AI in Healthcare Communications

Lehi, United States – Weave, a leading software platform for customer experience and payments in small and medium-sized healthcare businesses, has announced the completion of its previously announced acquisition of TrueLark.

TrueLark specializes in an AI-powered platform designed for receptionist and front-desk automation. This move is set to accelerate Weave’s strategy to enhance its AI capabilities within the healthcare communication space.

The acquisition integrates TrueLark’s technology into Weave’s platform, aiming to provide healthcare practices with advanced tools for front office automation. This includes using agentic AI to handle tasks such as scheduling, rescheduling, and answering inquiries via text message (SMS) and web chat, offering patients and clients 24/7 support.

According to the announcement, TrueLark’s AI platform helps businesses follow up on missed calls, increase booking rates, and improve overall operational efficiency.

In related news, Weave filed a shelf registration statement on Form S-3 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on May 16, 2025. This filing is a requirement of the merger agreement to register the shares issued as part of the TrueLark transaction. Weave stated it does not currently plan to offer or sell any additional securities to the public under this registration.
