Hong Kong – TECNO, an AI-driven innovative technology brand, has announced the launch of the Shot On CAMON Contest 2025.
The annual photography contest spotlights the FlashSnap function and invites smartphone photography enthusiasts to capture life’s extraordinary moments using the TECNO CAMON 40 Series.
Running from May 1 to September 30, 2025, participants can enter by posting photos taken with the CAMON 40 Series on Instagram using the hashtags #ShotOnCAMON and #TECNOCAMON40Series.
The contest offers a $10,000 Grand Prize and theme-based awards, with cash prizes, smartphones, and a trip to London up for grabs.
The CAMON 40 Series features TECNO AI and the innovative One-Tap FlashSnap Mode, combining a high-speed shutter with the BestMoment AI algorithm.
This year’s contest partners again with Amateur Photographer magazine for judging. A panel of experts from Amateur Photographer and TECNO’s imaging team will evaluate entries based on instant capture ability, emotional intention, use of light and color, and composition and image quality.
The three creative submission categories are:
- Snap Every Pulse: Capture moments that reflect the rhythm of life.
- Snap All Fleeting Bonds: Focus on the emotional depth of human connections.
- Snap Any Motion: Capture dynamic movement.
All entries must feature a visible TECNO watermark and be original content.
One photographer will be awarded the Grand Prize of $10,000 and the title of TECNO Photography Master. Each of the three themes will be awarded a Gold Prize ($5,000), Silver Prize ($3,000), and Bronze Prize ($1,000). All winners can join a Photography Tour in London.
The TECNO Friend Prize will award ten CAMON 40 Premier 5G smartphones to the top IG Reels creators.
To bring the Shot On CAMON spirit closer to users, TECNO will host offline snapshot challenges from June to August at flagship stores in key markets.
