Newport Beach, California – TadHealth, a company focused on providing mental health technology to schools, just announced a successful Series A funding round, bringing in $5.5 million.
This new round of investment, announced yesterday, is expected to significantly boost their mission to improve mental health support for students in kindergarten through 12th grade across the United States.
According to the announcement, the funding round was led by experienced healthcare executives and includes participation from figures like Dr. Jim Hudziak, a neuropsychiatry expert known for his work on brain health and development.
Dr. Hudziak notes the urgency of addressing youth mental health within schools and views TadHealth as a leader in providing effective resources to students, educators, and families.
Established in 2018, TadHealth aims to ensure students have access to mental health resources when they’re needed the most. The money will fuel the expansion of their technology and services, addressing the increasing demand from schools seeking effective solutions for youth mental health challenges.
Ben Greiner, Founder and CEO of TadHealth explained, “This funding will help us expand our reach and empower schools to provide the care students need when they need it most.” He aims to scale the platform to both enhance mental health services while easing the workload of school counselors.
TadHealth’s platform is designed as an electronic health record system tailored for K-12 schools. The company reports that it helps schools streamline care, simplify operations, and unlock funding opportunities.
