Paths to Power brings over 10 new scenario maps, each with unique objective-based gameplay. Forget the standard skirmish; these scenarios throw you into dynamic situations with specific goals and challenges. Imagine defending against relentless invaders as the Pranast United, or trying to assimilate entire human populations as the Advent. Sounds intense, right?

Here’s a sneak peek at some of the scenarios:
- All as One: Planets are disintegrating, and you, as the Vasari Alliance, must forge unlikely partnerships to escape a mysterious adversary. It’s a race against time!
- Defend the Homeworld: Take control of the Pranast United and see how long you can survive against waves of enemy ships. Can you outlast everyone else and earn ultimate bragging rights?
- Scorched Space: Explore a destroyed star system with strange, inactive starbases. Will you restore them for powerful technology, or destroy them to keep them out of enemy hands?
And that’s not all! Alongside the DLC, Stardock is releasing the free v1.4 update for all players. This update introduces a major gameplay mechanic: population. The population will now directly impact your empire’s influence through culture, changing how you achieve victory. Plus, expect new units, gameplay balance updates, and more.
