The Long awaited presentation must came as a surprise to the expectations of Apple Fan Girls and Boys. Thier expectations of a IPhone 5 was Broken with the news of IPhone 4S.
Althought it Looks as an IPhone 4, keep in mind that this device runs on IOS 5 which makes it a sneak peak into what the IPhone 5 will look like.
The expectations must have been taken seriously by investors who saw a 5% drop in the Price of the Apple Stock but only time will see if it will be successful as its predecessors.
Now for an over view of what The IPhone 4S brings.
- The Same old IPhone 4 Design.
- The CPU and Graphics of the iPhone 4S now has the iPad 2‘s dual-core A5 CPU. It also has dual-core graphics, which will allow for faster and more detailed 3D rendering. Apple claims this hardware combination makes the iPhone 4S seven times as fast as the iPhone 4 on games, and two times as fast on normal tasks.
- Its sports a new 8 megapixel sensor comparable to the Previous 5 Megapixels.
- With a new sensor and lens system its no wonder the Camera now shots video at 1080p video… in real-time with reduced noise and image stability.
- Internet Speeds are said to up to 7.2 Megabits-per-second downloads, which means faster downloads of internet files(faster HSPA+ networks).
- The Battery Life is said to not impact the New Processors. with varied talk times dependent on your generation of network(4G, 3g, 2g etc.)
- The iPhone comes now with 16, 32 and 64GB of Storage.
- Siri is a new built in smart assistant(will only run on this model) can help call people, send email and messages to people and so much more(we will cover more extensively in another article.
- a notification center that works with your apps to let you know about missed messages, calendar invitations, friend requests, and more.
Its available in black and white models and comes as 16GB model which would be $199, 32GB for $299 and 64GB for $399. The iPhone 4 would still be available in black for $99. All these prices require a contract.
Its available on pre-order the iPhone 4S on October 7. It will be available on AT&T, Verizon and Sprint on October 14.
The sad point however is that it wont be available in the Caribbean for a long time but Initially, the iPhone 4S will only be available in the United States, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, France, Germany and Japan.
