Panama’s Jaime Alemán Aims for Historic Space, Earth, and Pole Record

Houston, USA (May 25, 2025) – Jaime Alemán of Panama, a distinguished lawyer and former senior diplomat, is preparing for a unique milestone: a suborbital spaceflight aboard Blue Origin’s next mission, scheduled for the coming weeks.

At age 73, this voyage is poised to cap an extraordinary journey that includes visiting every country on Earth and setting foot on both the North and South Poles.

Upon successful completion of the flight, Mr. Alemán is expected to become the first person in history to achieve this remarkable trifecta: visiting all 193 United Nations-recognized countries, reaching both polar extremes, and traveling to outer space.
