Our Today Launches Mobile Apps

There is a new Caribbean News Mobile app available for both Android and iOS devices. It is the Our Today Caribbean News mobile App is available for the App Store and Google Play Store.

The Our Today mobile apps can be downloaded from an advertising banner within the header of the Our Today website. The banner brings you to a link which automatically determines if you are using an Android-based device or an iOS device.

Founded in the fall of 2020 during the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, A independent digital news service based in Kingston, Jamaica.

Our Today Excels at covering global Caribbean-based News, Business, Have Your Say, Life and Sports & Entertainment.

The app is developed by Cappen Our Today on The Google Play Store while being developed by Our Today Caribbean News for the App Store.

On first opening the app, it prompts you to approve the notification feature and select from Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, Saint Lucia and Trinidad and Tobago which will affect the “Today” and “My Feed” Sections which the app offers.

You can then choose subjects of interest which include News, Business, Have Your Say, Life and Sports & Entertainment.

The App also gives you the option to save your favourite articles to read later by clicking the three dots in each article.

The App then has a Today, News, My Feed, Saved and Profile tab.

The News section shows all the website content regardless of the country and category filter previously chosen.

My feeds offer personalized content based on country and category filters. You can always edit the feed via the “edit” button presented within the section.

The Saved Tab offer up articles which have been selectively stored for later.

This App places it against Digicel’s Trend Media Group based Loop Caribbean which also offers a mobile app.
