New emoji are now available in Windows 11

Lookout Windows 11 users, Microsoft will be rolling out a series of new emojis to all Windows 11 users. The roll out follows months of testing from Windows Insiders.

To get the new emoji in Windows 11, all you have to do is install this months optional November 2021 Windows 11 preview release. You can do this by opening your Windows Update settings, Update & Security, Windows update, and then selecting Check for updates, then hit dowload and install.

Once installed, your PC will restart and it will take a few minutes to access the new emojis via the emoji picker (Windows Key + period).

The emojis are largely based on Window’s new Fluent Stle with the goal of being a more “modern and expressive”.
