MotorSport Games, a NASDAQ listed company that develops racing games, publishes and provides an esports ecosystem, has recently announced that it sold its media outlet, Traxion to Traxion.GG Ltd, a UK subsidiary of Grid Finder Ltd for $250,000.

Who are Grid Finder? Grid Finder is an esports platform and online search directory for sim racing leagues. It helps racers find communities and allows communities to manage their events and drivers. 

Traxions was apart of The Motorsport Games family of brands but the content was editorially removed from Motorsport Games video game development and created by a dedicated team.

Motorsport Games aim from the sale is to streamline its operations, reduce operational costs and reduce components that are not considered a core of the company and its future.

The deal involved $200,000 in cash and $50,000 in future marketing efforts through Traction for MotorSports Games.

Motorsport Games is a leading developer, publisher, and esports provider of official motorsport racing games and simulations. They hold the licenses for major racing series like 24 Hours of Le Mans, FIA World Endurance Championship, and NASCAR. They also operate the industry-leading racing simulation platform rFactor 2.
