Ever wondered what it’s like to manage the afterlife?
Piraknights Games and Team17 Digital have unveiled the first gameplay trailer for Sintopia, a quirky mix of city builder and god game that puts you in charge of Hell’s administrative chaos.
Sintopia offers a new twist on the city-building genre, as players navigate waves of Humus, souls condemned for their earthly sins, while striving to manage the infernal bureaucracy smoothly.
The trailer showcases the game’s unique blend of city-building and god-like powers. You’ll oversee the Overworld, watching a civilization of chickpea people make their mark, and inevitably, damn themselves. In Hell, your job is to punish these souls, manage your expenses, and generate profit to expand your fiery empire.
To give players a taste of their future eternal employment, a pre-alpha demo of Sintopia is available as part of the City Builder & Colony Sim Fest on Steam. The demo includes all the content currently developed, offering a glimpse into both the Overworld and Hell.
Sintopia boasts several key features. As the Big Bad Boss, you’ll wield administrative magic to influence the Overworld. You’ll also be able to shape the caves of Hell to your liking, designing your own infernal architecture. And, of course, you’ll manage the Seven Deadly Sins, ensuring souls undergo effective re-education to prevent demonic invasions.

If you are as excited as I am after watching that great trailer, then look no further than the Sintopia Steam Waiting List page or even play the Steam demo or even sign up for the Sintopia email list.
