Jamaica Stock Exchange Launches JSE Datasphere: Your Hub for Market Data

The Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) has launched JSE Datasphere, a new platform providing access to business and financial data for companies listed on the exchange.

JSE Datasphere is designed to provide users with fast access to historical and real-time market data and news. The JSE said it will aid in academic studies and guide investment analysis and decision-making.

Users can subscribe to historical market data, corporate actions, news, and other important information, and customize reports through a secure portal.

Once you have registered using your email address and verified it, you will be directed to the store page that lists various pricing options which can be filtered between Package Listing or Product Listings. These options include:

• Basic Package: Free for 1 year of data.
• Basic Plus: $900 per year for 2 years of data, including Market Summaries, Prospectuses, Corporate Actions, Index Summaries, and Financial Documents.
• Premium: $2,000 per year for 3 years of data, with all features of the Basic Plus package, plus an RSS Feed.
• Developer Package (API): Priced at either $7,000(currently at publishing) or $9,000 per year for Ticker Feed, with a customized package option available.
• Custom Package: Don’t see a package or would like to make a suggestion? Make a Request.

You can also purchase individual products separately, such as:

• Market Summaries: $150 per year
• Prospectuses: $150 per year
• Corporate Actions: $150 per year
• Index Summaries: $150 per year
• Financial Documents: $150 per year
• RSS Feed: Free
• Ticker Feed: $4,000

Payments are processed securely using Stripe Checkout and are conducted in USD.

After subscribing to a Package or product, you can access API documentation and keys, as well as download data in CSV or XLSX format.

Effective Tuesday, April 8, 2025, the JSE will transition from a free subscription service to a paid subscription service. The JSE said various product packages will be available at competitive prices.
