Armonk, N.Y. – IBM (NYSE: IBM) and Scuderia Ferrari HP have unveiled a reimagined mobile app designed to connect fans to the world of Formula 1 racing.
The new app features a Race Centre and Racing Insights built with IBM watsonx, aiming to provide a more immersive experience for the team’s global fanbase.


Available in English and Italian, the app offers:
- AI-generated race summaries: Post-race recaps using LLMs on watsonx, transforming race data into compelling narratives.
- Post-race insights and data visualizations: Dynamic visuals, created from technologies on watsonx, that allow fans to interact with driver and car data.
- Historical driver and team insights: Analysis comparing key 2025 race moments to past Scuderia Ferrari HP race milestones, generated by LLMs on watsonx.
Alongside Race Center, new app features include:
- Fan messages: Allows fans to send messages directly to the team.
- Interactive fan polls: Daily polls on a range of Scuderia Ferrari HP topics.
- Iconic races: Race summaries highlighting some of Ferrari’s most famous wins.
IBM and Scuderia Ferrari will continue rolling out new app features throughout 2025.
