Guadalajara, Mexico – Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacífico, S.A.B. de C.V. (GAP) has announced its preliminary terminal passenger traffic figures for March 2025, compared to March 2024.

The total number of terminal passengers at GAP’s 12 Mexican airports increased by 7.0% in March 2025, compared to March 2024.
Airport Performance
- Guadalajara: Increased by 10.4%
- Tijuana: Increased by 5.6%
- Los Cabos: Increased by 3.5%
- Montego Bay: Decreased by 7.7%
Domestic terminal passengers increased by 12.6% overall. Standout performers include Guadalajara (18.0% increase) and Hermosillo (17.9% increase).
International terminal passengers decreased by 1.3% overall. Kingston saw a significant increase of 7.7%, while Guadalajara and Puerto Vallarta experienced slight decreases.
Tijuana’s Cross Border Xpress (CBX) saw a 6.3% increase in users.
The seats available during March 2025 increased by 9.0%, compared to March 2024. The load factors for the month went from 84.0% in March 2024 to 81.5% in March 2025.


New routes include Guanajuato – Monterrey (Volaris), Puerto Vallarta – Sacramento (Southwest), Los Cabos – Nashville (Southwest), and Los Cabos – Oakland (Volaris).
This preliminary report follows the announcement from GAP regarding the extension of a USD $60.0 million credit line for its subsidiary, MBJ Airports Limited (MBJA). The maturity date of the credit line has been extended to October 4, 2029. This credit line, provided by the Bank of Nova Scotia and the Bank of Nova Scotia Jamaica Limited, carries a monthly interest rate of SOFR plus 200 basis points. The repayment will occur in ten equal semi-annual installments of USD $6.0 million each. Additionally, the extension of the credit line has generated a commission fee of USD $300,000.
