EA SPORTS College Football 26 Unveils Cover Athletes and Release Date

Redwood City, USA (May 27, 2025) – Electronic Arts Inc. (EA) and EA SPORTS today revealed the dynamic covers for the upcoming video game, EA SPORTS™ College Football 26.

The announcement features Alabama wide receiver Ryan Williams and Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith on the Standard Edition cover. The Deluxe Edition cover highlights college football legends, prominent coaches, beloved mascots, and other standout players from across the sport.

The full reveal of the game is scheduled for this Thursday, May 29. EA SPORTS College Football 26 is set to launch worldwide on July 10 for PlayStation®5 and Xbox Series X|S. The game promises authentic gameplay across 136 FBS schools, aiming to capture the “unrivaled passion” of college football.

Williams and Smith were chosen for the cover following impressive starts to their college careers. Williams set freshman records at Alabama, recognized for his speed and playmaking ability. Smith emerged as a top receiver for Ohio State, known for his elite route-running and clutch performances during the Buckeyes’ National Championship winning season.

The Deluxe Edition cover also features accomplished coaches such as Ohio State’s Ryan Day, Notre Dame’s Marcus Freeman, and Georgia’s Kirby Smart. They appear alongside iconic mascots and players like Clemson QB Cade Klubnik, Notre Dame RB Jeremiyah Love, and Penn State RB Nick Singleton.

Past EA SPORTS cover stars Reggie Bush, Tim Tebow, and Denard Robinson are also included on the Deluxe Edition, paying tribute to the sport’s history.
