Dapper Labs Inc and Animoca Brands has partnered together to launch the CryptoKitties Artist Series with four epic designs from award-wining illustrator Momo Wang.

Whats CryptoKitties? It is one of the first and largest blockchain-based games on the Etheruem network. the game allows players to purchase/collect digital cat collectables which are secured via blockchain technology.

Animoca has not only been a key partner of CryptoKitties since January 2018 but brokered the collaboration between CryptoKitties and Momo Wang.

The extremely popular Tuzki character is the work of Momo Wang. Tuzki is a black and white line drawn bunny that is one of the most recognized characters in china and used widely across various instant messaging platforms such as WeChat.

The Momo Wang collection features four avant-garde cats inspired by DADA ballet costumes that each possess an authentic take on the genetic makeup of a CryptoKitty. Two of these Kitties will be reserved for upcoming Fancy Chases and two Kitties will be sold on Nifty Gateway.

Momo’s first CryptoKitty, Catterina, is a Special Edition in a limited run of 100 priced at US$100. Catterina is exclusively available on Nifty Gateway, the platform for collectors and artists that allows the exhibition and trading of rare artworks. Once all 100 Kitties sell out, CryptoKitties will unveil an auction for the Exclusive 1 of 1 edition.

Half the proceeds from the Caterina sale will go towards organizations such as Feeding America and Food Banks Canada to help hungry communities impacted by the COVID-19 crisis.
