Jamaica – The Barita Foundation has announced that applications are now open for its scholarships for the 2025/2026 academic year. This opportunity is primarily available to clients and staff of Barita and Cornerstone, as well as their children, offering support for various levels of education.
According to an announcement from Barita, being a customer of Barita or Cornerstone provides access to these exclusive educational opportunities.
Applications for all scholarships are due by Friday, July 11, 2025.
The scholarships cover several educational stages:
- Primary Exit Profile (PEP) Scholarship: For children of clients or staff currently in Grade 6 who sat the PEP exams during the 2024/2025 academic year.
- CSEC/CAPE Scholarship: For applicants scheduled to sit CXC examinations during the 2025/2026 academic year.
- Tertiary Scholarship: For clients or children of clients pursuing a first degree during the 2025/2026 academic year.
- Early Childhood Education Scholarship: For applicants already enrolled or accepted into a tertiary institution to pursue an undergraduate degree in early childhood education.
