TAIPEI, Taiwan (June 9, 2025) – Acer Inc. (TWSE: 2353) announced its consolidated revenues for May 2025 reached NT$19.17 billion, or approximately US$640.5 million, based on an exchange rate of NT$1 = US$0.03341.
This marks a positive increase, showing a 3.1% growth compared to the previous month.
Looking at the performance over the first five months of the year (January to May), Acer’s consolidated revenues hit NT$99.18 billion(Approximately $3.3 billion USD), an increase of 1.4% compared to the same period last year.
A notable highlight in the report is the strong performance of their Chromebook business, which saw revenues jump by 24.4% year-over-year.
Acer’s strategy to grow its business beyond traditional personal computers and displays continues to gain traction. According to the report, revenue from these other business areas made up a significant portion of the group’s total revenue – accounting for 31.5% in May and 31.8% for the year-to-May period.
The company recently participated in Computex 2025 at the end of May, where they showcased a range of innovations. Their lineup, including new AI PCs, displays, gaming products, connectivity solutions, and smart wearables, was reportedly well-received. Subsidiary companies also received mentions for their contributions in areas like appliance servers, medical, and smart solutions.
